REHIS Elementary Health & Safety
2 Day Course

The REHIS Elementary Health & Safety Course has been independently rated on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 5 with 1 credit and is approved by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) as an equivalent qualification which learners, once achieved, can apply to sit the test for a CSCS Green Labourer Card.

 

In order to apply for the Green Labourer’s card the candidate must be certificated in this award (or equivalent) and successfully pass the operatives CITB Health, Safety & Environment Touch Screen Test. The candidate will be issued with a course pack (including The Health & Safety Handbook for Scotland publication) and additional revision materials to help them prepare for the CITB CSCS test. At the end of this course the learner will be assessed using a multi-choice assessment paper with a minimum pass mark of 60%. Successful completion of this unit will result in a REHIS Elementary Health & Safety certificate being awarded. On successful completion of REHIS Elementary Health & Safety course you will be required to revise for the CITB HS&E touch screen test. You will be issued with revision materials to help you prepare for this.

 

HSC Futures will book the test for you, and you will be issued with a score report that will be immediately available. Upon successful completion of both tests. We will help you apply for your CSCS Card. The course price includes the REHIS Elementary Health & Safety qualification, CITB HS&E Test and application for the CITB Operatives Card. Please note that any re-sits will be charged at the current rate and are not included in the cost of the course.

Qualification Gained: The qualification gained through this course is a REHIS Health & Safety certificate & CCS labourer’s green card.

Entry Requirements: The entry requirements for this course is that applicants MUST be over16.
