Construction Training for CSCS Card
2 Day Course

This course has several elements:

(1) REHIS’s Elementary Health & Safety Course has been independently rated on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 5 with 1 credit and is approved by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) as an equivalent qualification which learners, once achieved, can apply to sit the test for a CSCS Green Labourer Card.

The candidate will be issued with a course pack (including The Health & Safety Handbook for Scotland publication) and additional revision materials to help them prepare for the CITB CSCS test. At the end of this course the learner will be assessed using a multi-choice assessment paper with a minimum pass mark of 60%. Successful completion of this unit will result in a REHIS Elementary Health & Safety certificate being awarded

 (2) Candidate must successfully pass the operatives CITB Health, Safety & Environment Touch Screen Test administered at a Pearson Vue Test Centre. HSC Futures will book the test for you, and you will be issued with a score report from CITB that will be immediately available post test.

(3) On successful completion of both above, we will apply for your CSCS Card.

Please note that any re-sits will be charged at the current rate and are not included in the cost of the course.

Qualification Gained: The qualification gained through this course is a REHIS Elementary Health & Safety certificate, CITB HS&E Touch Screen Test Score Report & CCS labourer’s green card.

Entry Requirements: The entry requirements for this course is that applicants should have a basic level of English, have a national insurance number and valid photographic ID.
