REHIS (Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland) Elementary Health & Safety course can be used alongside a CITB HS&E touch screen test to apply for a CSCS Operative’s card (Green Labourers Card). At the end of the course you will complete an assessment which comprises of 30 Multi choice questions.

Prepare for Site Safety - Janitors and Cleaners in Social Care and Educational Settings
Duration: 3 Days
Qualification: HSC Certificate and REHIS Elementary Infection Prevention and Control Certificate
This is a 3 day aimed at those wishing to work in a janitorial or cleaning role in a social care or educational setting. It is important to understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Having awareness of correct cleaning plans, disinfecting and sanitisation methods, what products should be used and when, how to prevent / control infections and ensuring your own safety when working in a janitorial or cleaning role is of great importance.
Fire Safety Awareness
Duration: 1/2 Day
Qualification: HSC Futures Ltd Certificate
This 1/2 hour course ensures candidates have an understanding of fire safety. The course allows candidates to receive the necessary training in fire safety so they have the knowledge to act safely and responsibly should the need arise.
On completion of the course the candidate will have a clear understanding of fire safety in the context of their workplace.
Manual Handling
Duration: 1/2 Day

This qualification is designed to cover the basic principles of manual handling. This theory-based qualification is ideal for all employees as it provides candidates with an awareness of safe manual handling practices and the risks of unsafe manual handling.
REHIS Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day)

This one day module is an abbreviated First Aid Course covering the most important situations and injuries. The course is aimed at anyone who works in a job role which requires a first aid qualification or someone who just wishes to be generally qualified in the area of First Aid
First Aid at Work (3 Day)
Duration: 3 Days
This 3 day qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Duration: 1 Day
This course has been designed in line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for those who have gained a level 2 or level 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with the EYFS requirements or Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents or those who want to learn key paediatric first aid skills.
