Royal Environmental Health Institute Scotland (REHIS) Elementary Food Hygiene
Duration: 1 Day
Qualification: REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
This 1 day course is ideal for anyone involved in preparing, cooking or serving food.
SCQF Level 6 Scottish Certificate for Personal License Holders (SCPLH)
Duration: 1 Day
Qualification: SCQF Level 6 (1 credit)
The qualification would suit anyone wishing to gain employment in a licensed establishment. It is not a mandatory qualification however career prospects may be increased by having this qualification.
SCQF Level 6 Scottish Certificate for Personal License Holders (SCPLH) Refresher
Duration: 1/2 Day
Qualification: SCQF Level 6
The SCPLH-R is a half day course with a multiple-choice exam, very similar to the format of the existing SCPLH. In order to keep yourself up to date and refreshed with any changes in legislation or industry the SCPLH-R should be completed every 5 years.
SQA Scottish Certificate for Safe Sale and Service of Alcohol
Duration: 3 Hours (2 hours training, 1 hour exam)
Qualification: SQA SCSSSA
The qualification involves pre-course study and a half day training course, this is supported by a handbook for each candidate. On completion of the training day candidates will be asked to complete a multiple choice question and examination which is marked out of 25. Candidates must get at least 18 out of 25 to pass the course.
